MINISTRY OBJECTIVES:

What does the ministry of "To God Be The Glory" wishes to accomplish?

First of all we thank God for this opportunity to serve Him in the manner He has afforded us to teach the Word of God. Our main goal is to defer all glory to God. This site is dedicated to all things bright and beautiful being the Word of God. We are servants that He gives understanding so that we can speak His name. To proclaim the knowledge of His salvation to the lost sheep of the house of Israel as commanded. Because we rely solely on His leading we declare that all things contained in this site be to His glory and no other. We thank Him for the understanding that He has given us to be His ambassadors through this medium in particular. We strongly feel that unless we understand the Word of God, we can't be saved. This idea is prevalent throughout the Bible. We see an instance of this in John 3:5;

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

We are told here that unless we are born of the water and the spirit we can not enter the kingdom of God. In other words, we cannot be saved without the water and the Spirit. The water of the Gospel is the Word of God, the Bible; without it we will not see the salvation of God. Ephesians 5:26

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

and that water of the Gospel is Christ Himself as He is the Word of God personified, 1John 5:8

And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

whereby we can become indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God who will be our companion and our guide. Romans 8:14-16;

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

That is why unless we know the Bible we can not be saved and enter into the kingdom of God. This does not mean that everyone that reads or studies the Bible will be saved. It means that unless we know the Bible through the help of His Spirit; i.e. unless God opens our spiritual eyes and our spiritual ears to understand His word, (i.e. But even before that we would have to have been elected unto salvation from before the foundation of the world ) before any of this can apply to our lives. God is sovereign and very much in charge.

Why the name "To God Be The Glory"?

There are a couple of reasons:

1. So that anything worthy or good that we do the glory goes to God and not to anyone here regardless of who does the work. On the other hand, if we make a mistake or take our eyes away from Him, it is because we have not obeyed His Word due to our own lusts as this warring happens when we are in the body. (Romans 7 )

2. So that we should rely solely on God providence for guidance and for wisdom. We will never, knowingly, promote our own ideas or bias but trust entirely on God for all wisdom. Therefore we always are never fearing anything or any task because we are not trying to sell an idea or promote any particular concept; we depend solely on God's leadings. Any idea we find or learn from anyone; whether it is our church, or our pastors or Bible teachers must always be reproofed by way of the Bible. Our allegiance is always and foremost to God and God alone. If we can not harmonize a verse we leave it alone until God gives us the wisdom. This way we are letting God use us to bring His message to the world. We never have to check with anyone to see if we are correct. God, if He is willing, will reveal it to us to be used for His glory, otherwise we wait on Him for all things according to His time.

3. In all things, we try to be subservient and show all reverence and all piety to God, the Creator of the whole world, the Almighty God who in His everlasting grace looked upon man with mercy. We therefore want to pay tribute to Him in some small way and to give Him all honor and glory; As the apostle John declares in John 3:30

He must increase, but I must decrease.

It is God to whom we fear to whom is worthy of all praise,

What do you hope to achieve in your ministry?

I feel that that we are given an extremely important unction: A immense understanding of His Word; and with this comes insurmountable responsibility: To whom much is given much is required. Our responsibilty to proclaim is stated in Romans 10: 13-17; 13

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

These verses discribes the nature of this work in a nutshell; In order for anyone to be saved they must call out to God. They cannot call out to God unless they understand the wrath of God on their sins. They cannot understand the wrath to come unless they are told. They cannot be told unless the Word is preached. The Gospel cannot be preached unless someone is sent. No one is sent unless they understand the will of God. They cannot understand His will unless they have beautiful feet. [saved] They cannot have beautiful feet unless they have been washed by the water of the Gospel. (This is the act as in John 13 "washing the feet of His desciples" which spiritually means that our will has been broken [saved] and are willing only to do the will of the Father) So it all goes back to God. Unless God breaks our will to do His instead, we cannot obey and do His will.

As God helps us do His will, our witnessing must be beyond denominational divides. Our authority must be from God His Word, the Bible. We will not intentionally promote any denominational doctrines other than what the Bible declares. That is why this opportunity via the Internet is a call of God because we can speak to a vast audience across denominational boundries that we may be all confined to, without hindrences and let God speak to each individual as He chooses. Anonymously, anyone can ask questions regarding what they are taught and we can scrutinize it based on the Word of God to see whether it is faithful. Our allegiences must be to God's truth not necessarily to a Church. Colossians 1:25-28

Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; 26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: 28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

Because we do not save anyone we, as unprofitable servants, simply become ambassadors of Christ in the world. It is God that dispenses salvation based on His election plan.

Who is your target audience?

We have no prescribed target audience. However, because of our limited linguistic gifts, presently we are limited to a couple of languages; namely English and Samoan. We feel the need to translate our English lesson etc. into all languages of the Pacific region because this is our area of familiarity. However we would be more than happy for work with anyone that has the desire to translate any of our material into any language of the world, including but not limited to the Samoan language.

What are you doing to reach and convert the outcasts?

Our primary job is to teach the Word. This we feel God has allowed us. We cannot convert anyone unless God leads them here. It is never the job of the believer to convert anyone because that is the God's resolve. We read in 1Corinthians 3:3-9;

4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? 5 ¶ Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? 6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. 8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. 9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

As Paul plants the seed of the Word, Apollos waters, none of this matters unless God gives the increase, the increase of souls according to the will of the Father. Salvation is of God. We just become His witnesses by brining the Word; But it is God that saves. This is our command.

What kind of help do you need?

We need interpreters in all languages. We particularly need those of the Pacific region to translate our literatures and Bible studies into their own languages. However, we welcome anyone who God may lead to help their own people to bring the Gospel. We see the apostle Paul in Romans 10:1-2

1 ¶ Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

There's a Paul in every language and every tongue that God has set up to be His witnesses in the world. As we see Paul's desire for his people so would we all for ours. This is God's divine economy in sending the Gospel into all the nations of the world.

Do you accept donations?

Presently, we do not have a mandate for such because we give freely. However, if God speak to your heart to give, this you may do by contacting us. We seek God's wisdom as far as how He needs to expand this ministry. We wait on Him willing to be obedient. God designs each ministry for a specific purpose as all believers do. We believe that God will effect those whomever are fed by our ministry or feel the urge to give of their time, talent, finances to the spreading of the Gospel. We are mindful of suggestions by any who feel could contribute as a way God may be leading. Many have contributed so far to this cause and whosoever feels the need to do so may be a direct result of God's leading in their lives as through that comes God's blessings to them as accorded by His Word. We rest on Him for direction and purpose. The teaching of the Word, as scripture teaches is of no cost. We heed this from the Lord; Matthew 10:7-8

7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Great is the Lord that has provided understanding freely so we reciprocate likewise as commanded; Isaiah 55:1

¶ Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

We glad to be used of the Lord in any way according to His Will contained within His Word. God manifests His will through His people to further His kingdom in this world as we are commanded. That goes for this ministry also. It is God that moves His people as He wills. It is God that prompts all good action to achieve His purpose as He gives the faith to each and everyone of His children to bring the Gospel. Some do it by directly involving themselves with the teaching of the Word or being a witness by giving out Bible tracts, other support these efforts so that what God blesses will bring forth fruit. He never fails to accomplish His purpose in the world whether it is this work or any other. Isaiah 55:10-11

10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

May the name of the Lord be glorified in all that we do, Amen.

Acknowledgement:

I wish to acknowledge my late mother, who wished for me to serve God and therefore dedicated me at a very young age in prayer even before I had any desire to serve Him. Her wishes through faith has been fulfilled as the Lord has used my life to serve Him. I thank God therefore for using such a wretch like me to serve Him. Can we be worthy of such a call?
